Commenting on the views of Raffi Hovannisian, former Foreign Minister of Armenia, chairman of the “Heritage” Party, Ali Ahmadov said his statement does not coincide with the international community’s views on the current issues.
“No matter what former Foreign Minister of Armenia said, the UN, important European institutions, international community, OSCE and its co-chairs have several times stated the fact of occupation of Azerbaijan’s territories. Moreover, they openly stated that they recognize Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity. I think all this confirms that Armenian former Foreign Minister’s statement is quite groundless,” he said.
Attending the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) in Baku chairman of the “Heritage” Party of Armenia Raffi Hovannisian expressed contradictory views on Nagorno Karabakh conflict, said while speaking of the conflict, one should not use the term of occupation.
