The Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan, Peter Michalko, has commemorated the victims of the Khojaly genocide on the social media account of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, APA reports.
Marking the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko expressed his heartfelt condolences, stating:
"We grieve for the innocent lives lost in the horrific events of Khojaly—women, men, children, and the elderly—honoring their memory. My deepest sympathies go out to those who lost their loved ones, friends, and their homes in this tragedy. It is our collective responsibility to work towards reconciliation and lasting peace, ensuring that such atrocities are never repeated."
