Representatives of Azerbaijan's cultural community have congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Victory Day, APA reports.

The congratulatory message reads:

"Esteemed Mr. President,

November 8 – Victory Day has become a symbol of our people's struggle for the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation, the restoration of our territorial integrity and sovereignty, and the establishment of historical justice. On this proud occasion, we congratulate you and express our profound respect and endless gratitude for the historic Victory you have bestowed upon our people.

The glorious Victory you secured for our people as the Victorious Commander-in-Chief is the triumph of national will, the highest pinnacle of the struggle for justice, and the realization of a sense of justice. The 44-day Patriotic War will forever live in the hearts of our people as Azerbaijan's military, political, and diplomatic victory on a battlefield where justice confronted injustice, compassion confronted violence, and truth confronted falsehood.

Under your leadership, the Great Return to Garabagh and East Zangezur, along with the restoration and reconstruction work being carried out, is a clear expression of our people's determination to build and create. The settlements, roads, airports, and other social and infrastructure projects constructed within a short period are vivid examples of the development model of an independent Azerbaijan relying on its own strength, as well as the embodiment of a victorious state's commitment to peace, progress, and cultural revival.

The restoration of the cultural heritage created by the Azerbaijani people over centuries and destroyed during the years of occupation, as well as the revival of the Khari Bulbul International Music Festival and the tradition of the Vagif Poetry Days, once again confirms that the Victory we have achieved is also a victory of high culture, an unbreakable spirit, and spirituality.

These processes, which constitute significant cultural events, are an expression of a victorious national identity rooted in historical memory, a reflection of the ideals of statehood in cultural codes, and a manifestation of the special importance the state attaches to national and spiritual values.

We express our deep gratitude to you for your support, constant care, and attention to efforts aimed at preserving and perpetuating the national and spiritual values of the Azerbaijani people, promoting them worldwide, and ensuring their worthy representation in the system of international cultural relations.

Esteemed Mr. President,

On behalf of our country's cultural community, we once again sincerely congratulate you on this remarkable and historic day. We pray to Almighty God to grant you a long life, good health, and further success in your high and honorable activities for the prosperity and well-being of our people and the strengthening and progress of our state.
