Baku. Lachin Sultanova–APA. There have been no changes in Azerbaijan’s foreign policy, said Khazar Ibrahim, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacting to the EU South Caucasus envoy Peter Semneby’s opinion about the impact of developments in Georgia on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. “We don’t make policy under the influence of other developments. We think the Nagorno Karabakh conflict must be settled within the norms of international law only. It is not correct that someone intends to prevent solution to the conflict by any precedent. We advocate for restoration of peace and stability in the region. It is not rhetoric and we are doing practical work for restoration of peace in the region. We wouldn’t like that any new tension makes negatively affect on the regional situation because the regions is full with the conflicts alreadyâ€.
