Daniel Fried expresses his anxiety to Azerbaijani ambassador to US on media situation in Azerbaijan

Ambassador said that freedom of freely assembly of people should be ensured in the country, electors should be registered and votes should be counted transparently for having free and just elections in every country.
â€œOne of the most important things in this issue is the development of media. To my regret, Azerbaijan is recognized in the world as a country where journalists are imprisoned at present. We want Azerbaijan to be recognized by its culture, science,â€ she said.
Ann Derse called that energy resources are provisions of Azerbaijanâ€™s future, moreover exerting pressure on media is threat for the future of Azerbaijan.
Anne Derse said that US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried met with Azerbaijani ambassador to US Yashar Aliyev yesterday.
