On July 5, Russian forces launched two strikes on a SOCAR gas station in the Mykolaiv region of Ukraine, in the direction of Odessa, reported by "Ukrainskaya Pravda" citing a source in law enforcement agencies, APA reports.
According to the information, the first strike on the gas station in the village of Nechayane, located approximately 30 kilometers from Mykolaiv, was carried out at 19:16, and the second strike at 19:33 by a "Shahed" unmanned aerial vehicle.
According to the source, on July 3, monitoring channels issued a warning that Russia was planning to launch massive strikes against logistics facilities, freight transport and gas stations. Potential targets included various gas stations operating in the city of Nikolayev and the region, including the SOCAR complex.
Official information on the extent of damage to the gas station as a result of the incident has not yet been released.
