US President Donald Trump is Israel's greatest friend, but the state has many friends in the world beyond the United States. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to criticism from US Vice President J.D. Vance, who called on the state to remember that the United States remains its "only powerful ally" in the world, APA reports.
"I respect J.D. Vance, we have a very good relationship, but that doesn't mean I agree with everything he says. I should also point out that Donald Trump is the greatest friend I've ever had in the White House," he said on Fox News. "We have other friends, like a small country called India, which has 1.4 billion people, and we have tremendous support there."
According to the Israeli prime minister, many heads of state call him to express their respect and offer cooperation. "So the relationship is quite different from what it seems, and we have many friends," he added.
