He said that Turkish President Abdullah Gul paid official visit to Baku on the eve of establishment of the above-said commission.
“The Presidents of the two countries signed joint declaration on recognition of PKK as terrorist organization during visit. Azerbaijani Parliament will ratify that declaration. That is why we regard that there is no need to adopt two separate documents on one issue, as recognition of PKK as a terrorist organization was solved highly,†he said.
Ziyafat Asgarov also replied to the question "Why did you establish commission then?â€.
“It was not known that time that this document will be adopted during Turkish President’s visit to Azerbaijan. There was no need for making statement after adoption of joint declaration. As Azerbaijan’s position was fully reflected in the declaration,†he said. /APA/
