Steven R. Mann stressing significance of Trans-Caspian project in the meeting underlined that Azerbaijan’s participation in the transit of Central Asian energy deliveries is of strategic and economic significance for the country.
The minister stating that Azerbaijan pursues active energy policy mentioned intensive dialogues carried out with European countries, as well as energy dialogue with US, energy summits. Minister saying that Azerbaijan pursues independent policy due to its national interests and works on delivering its resources to European energy market gave information about negotiations carried out with Turkmenistan, useful cooperation established with Central Asian countries and said that Azerbaijan is also interested in this cooperation.
The sides stressed necessity of continuing energy dialogue between Azerbaijan and US. /APA/
