Azerbaijani Foreign Minister receives Russia, South Caucasus and Central Asia Department Head of Great Britain Foreign Ministry

Azerbaijanâ€™s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Russia, South Caucasus and Central Asia (RUSCCAD) Department Head of the Great Britain Foreign Ministry Michael Davenport, Foreign Ministry told APA.
The visitor said the aim of his visit was to familiarize with the situation in the region, he concerned himself with Azerbaijanâ€™s role in the region, integration into NATO and settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Elmar Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan is always developing, reforms are being carried out in all spheres, cooperation with NATO continues and the second phase of Individual Partnership Action Plan is being carried out successfully.
Touching on the settlement of the conflict the minister gave information about the present state of peace talks.
They exchanged views on regional issues, especially recent events in Georgia and noted the necessity of restoration of stability in the country. /APA/
