Turkish ambassador: â€œIf the West does not want the events like Ramil Safarovâ€™s issue to be repeated, must support the position of Azerbaijanâ€

Baku â€“ APA. â€œNo one must corruptly use the issue concerning Ramil Safarov. Who wants to influence on Azerbaijan using this issue, must see the root of the problem and must take into consideration the position of Ramil Safarovâ€™s family and the number of innocent human lossesâ€, Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic told journalists at his farewell meeting, APA reports.

Ambassador said that itâ€™s impossible to hide the situation as a result of which more than 1 mln Azerbaijanis became refugees and internally displayed persons and 20% of the territory of Azerbaijan was occupied by Armenia: â€œThe culprit of this event is the West. If the West doesnâ€™t want the events like Ramil Safarov issue to be repeated, it must deal with the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflictâ€.

Mentioning 4 resolutions adopted by the UN concerning Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the diplomat stressed the above mentioned resolutions: â€œNevertheless one resolution was realized like that concerning Libyaâ€™s issueâ€.

Kilic stated that Turkey always stands and supports the right position of Azerbaijan: â€œI hope that this problem will be settled soon. I will continue making efforts perusing the following directionâ€.
