Elman Abdullayev said that ASALA was always terrorist organization and has committed terrorist acts for several times. He also recalled that Azerbaijan is an active participant in fight against terrorism.
The Spokesman said that the Azerbaijani side addressed to the Hungarian law-enforcement bodies for investigating this issue and added that ensuring security of Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in this country is main priorities of the MFA.
The Azerbaijani embassy in Hungary has received many threatening letters after the extradition of Ramil Safarov. ASALA Armenian terrorist organization sent a letter to the embassy by threatening to kill employees of Azerbaijani diplomatic mission and Azerbaijani living abroad.
According to press statement on September 10, Armenia refuted information on the letter that ASALA sent to the Azerbaijani embassy.
