Azerbaijani President and Turkish PM to visit Turkish soldiers’ memorial complex in Shaki

APA reports that President Ilham Aliyev and the first lady Mehriban Aliyeva, together with Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his spouse Emine Erdogan have visited the memorial complex for Turkish soldiers located in Orta Zayzid village of Shaki.
Aliyev and Erdogan watched at the stands reflecting the routes of Caucasus Islamic Army in Azerbaijan and Dagestan in 1918 and the cemeteries of Turkish Martyrs.
It’s mentioned that theses monuments were erected to Turkish Martyrs who arrived in Azerbaijan in order to protect the Azerbaijani population from Armenian-Bolshevik aggressors at the beginning of the XX century.
Flourishing works has been fulfilled around the monuments.
