Initially, President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has made statements to the press.

President Ilham Aliyev said that Turkish-Azerbaijani cooperation in all fields successfully developed.

He highlighted due to the political, economic, energy and transport sectors, cooperation within international organizations.

The President said that during talks with Turkish Prime Minister also touched upon the problem of the Karabakh conflict.

Turkish guest was briefed on the progress of negotiations to settle the conflict. “Azerbaijan’s position is clear: the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan must be restored. The conflict can be resolved only on the basis of the principle of territorial integrity”, he said.

Ilham Aliyev said that the negotiations were discussed gas transport, the implementation of the project of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, the prospects for cooperation in the field of communications and information technology.

Addressing the Prime Minister of Turkey said that Azerbaijan and Turkey confidently embody the thesis of "one nation, two states". In particular, he noted that there are good opportunities this year turnover from the current 3.5 billion to $ 5 billion.

He said that the talks with the President of Azerbaijan discussed important issues relating to cooperation in the sphere of politics, economy, military and culture. "We will cooperate with Azerbaijan in all spheres," he said.
