Day of Argentina held in the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academyâ€™s Book Center

Baku. Victoria Dementieva â€“ APA. The Day of Argentina was held in the Book Center of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy. APA reports that Argentinean diplomat Tomas Gerbasio who gained a right to get education in the ADA this year within MADIA international relations and diplomacy master program hold a presentations for the Academyâ€™s students on his countryâ€™s history and culture.

Gerbasio informed about his countryâ€™s statehood history, contemporary history and the conflict between Argentina and United Kingdom for Falkland Islands. The diplomat, who paralleled Nagorno Karabakh and Falkland Islands conflicts and said that his country supported the settlement of this conflict according to the principles of the international law especially principle of territorial integrity.

Argentinean MPs, who are on a visit to Azerbaijan, also attended the presentation ceremony. Head of the Argentina-Azerbaijan friendship chamber Federico Pinedo said that the senators will take maximum efforts for the opening of embassy in Azerbaijan. He said that the delegation would return to Argentina with detailed information about Nagorno Karabakh conflict: â€œNagorno Karabakh conflict is one of the factors which stem the tide of regionâ€. Then Argentinean tango and cuisine were demonstrated for ADAâ€™s students.
