TurkPA to hold international women conference in Baku

Baku – APA. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of independence of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-speaking countries - TurkPA will organize an international conference in Baku entitled “The role of women in the 21st century: responsibility of the women politiciansâ€. The conference will be hosted by the Azerbaijani parliament.
TurkPA sources told APA that the representatives of the Public Union of Women Leaders, Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency under the Turkey’s Cabinet of Ministers and international organizations Dialogue Eurasia will attend the conference, which will be held on October 3, 2011.
The conference will focus on the women’s role in all spheres of the society, including peace and stability, administration and decision-making processes, improvement of relations between the women of Turkic-speaking countries, exchange of experiences. The responsibility of the women politicians in the solution of global problems will be on agenda of the conference.
