Azerbaijani President receives Chairman of California Senate Environmental Quality Committee

Baku â€“ APA. On September 26, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the delegation led by Chairman of the California Senate Environmental Quality Committee, Senator Joe Simitian.

APA reports that President Aliyev underlined the successful development of relations between the countries and noted importance of mutual visits in deepening of bilateral relations. The Head of State expressed hope that the visit of US delegation will be successful and said that this visit will create o good opportunity for US delegation to familiarize with Azerbaijan better.

In his turn, Simitian expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan together with the delegation represented by California Sateâ€™s legislative body. He said that the delegation was consisting of senators who were representing the various regions of California State and highly assessed the significance of the visit.
