Euronest PA holds first meeting

APA reports quoting AzerTAc state agency that head of the Azerbaijani parliamentâ€™s delegation to the Assembly Elkhan Suleymanov, chairman of the parliamentâ€™s committee for legal policy and statehood Ali Huseynli, parliamentarians Malahat Ibrahimgizi, Rasim Musabayov, Faraj Guliyev, Sevinj Huseynova, Rovshan Rzayev, Azer Karimli, Fuad Muradov and Asim Mollazadeh are attending the session.

The meetings of the assemblyâ€™s committees and bureaus were held first, views were exchanged on human rights, democracy, economic integration, energy security, social issues.

The first general meeting of Euronest PA will be held on September 15.

President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek will make a keynote speech at the meeting. Nonbinding resolution envisaging preparations for the Eastern Partnership summit in Warsaw and Assemblyâ€™s action plan for 2011-2012 will be adopted during the meeting.
