# 09 September 2011 12:39 (UTC +04:00)
The first day will see meetings of the Assembly’s four standing committees – on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy, on Economic Integration, Legal Approximation and Convergence with EU Policies, on Energy Security, and on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society.

September 15 will see a formal plenary session, opened by the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek and with a scheduled address by European Neighbourhood Policy Commissioner Štefan Füle.

The Plenum is also scheduled to discuss and adopt a Resolution with recommendations to the EaP Summit meeting on 29-30 September 2011 in Warsaw, as well as discuss and adopt a Declaration on Belarus.

The Euronest Parliamentary Assembly aims to act as the parliamentary forum promoting the necessary conditions to accelerate political association and further economic integration between the EU and its Eastern European Partners. According to its website, it will contribute to the strengthening, development and visibility of the Eastern Partnership, as the institution responsible for parliamentary consultation, supervision and monitoring of the Partnership.

Euronest will meet, in principle, once a year, alternately in an Eastern European Partner country and on the premises of the European Parliament.
