Azerbaijani MFA: â€œ2/3 of state border with Georgia coordinated and negotiations on uncoordinated areas are being continuedâ€

He denied the reports about the giving of one part of Gazakh regionâ€™s territory to Georgia during the delimitation: â€œThis news is incorrect. The issues on land changing on the coordinated areas were not considered. The issues on the border delimitation between Azerbaijan and Georgia are coordinated between the commissions of both sides on state border delimitation and demarcation. The issues on 2/3 of state border with Georgia are coordinated at the level of the State Commissions and the negotiations on the uncoordinated spheres are being continuedâ€.

According to him, the determination of border line in the coordinated spheres are carried out by considering current normative legal documents, advanced compilation, ground texture and the other corresponding legal documents between the sides.

â€œThe draft agreement project will be developed after the State Commissions finish the delimitation process and signed after its approval by the two sidesâ€.
