Baku. Viktoria Dementyeva – APA.“Azerbaijan is interested in constructive negotiations and always demonstrated constructive position. Current status-quo that Armenia tries to last is not acceptable for both Azerbaijan and world community”, said first secretary of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elman Abdullayev, commenting Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan’s speech at meeting with students, APA reports.
Elman Abdullayev underlining doubt toward sincerity of Armenia noted that this country should give up misleading own citizens and world community.
“Concrete activity and things should be done. There some agreements on outlines of peace agreement. Azerbaijan accepted updated principles of Madrid document. These principles are clear to everyone. Armenia firstly should withdraw their armed forces form occupied territories of Azerbaijan and our citizens have to return their homeland. For a long time Armenia refused to accept principles of Madrid document. E. Abdullayev stated that Azerbaijan supports continuation of negotiations process for solution of conflict within international law norms and principles.

Edward Nalbandian at meeting with students said Azerbaijan was impeding solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
