Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. “I have no information about the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs’ proposal to organize meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents on September 13â€, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said commenting on the Armenian newspapers’ report about the co-chairs’ proposal to organize meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents on September 13 during the opening of the UN General Assembly’s 66th session, APA reports.
Mammadyarov said Baku advocated for the continuation of the talks. “We consider that the negotiations should be developedâ€.
Armenian press reported that the international diplomatic circles consider this meeting as a last chance for the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict because political tensions are expected to take place in Armenia in September.
