A report was prepared basing on the results of the poll organized by the Council for International Relations. The Azerbaijan-related part of the report was released.

Head of the LINKS Dennis Sammut said the report had been prepared basing on the interviews given by the political parties in Azerbaijan and Armenia. 23 political organizations from each country gave the interviews. Dennis Sammut said the Armenian-related part of the report was released two weeks ago.
“The common conclusion is that there is a consensus among the political organizations of Azerbaijan on Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The consensus is that the conflict must be solved within the framework of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity. The political parties in Azerbaijan think about how the Armenians living in Nagorno Karabakh will live in future. Armenian political organizations have no opinion on the future of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh.”

The conflict solution part of the report says that there is very negative opinion on OSCE Minsk Group in Azerbaijan, there is no confidence in the US, Russia and France with regard to the solution, there is only positive opinion on Turkey, it is noted that Iran has friendly attitude towards Armenia. The report says that there is positive opinion on the Minsk Group in Armenia.

Dennis Sammut considers that the main threat for Azerbaijan is that the international community has not focused attention on Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
“We want this issue to be on the top of the international agenda. Azerbaijan has strong potential to solve the conflict peacefully.”

The e-version of the report is ready in English and Russian, the book will be released within a month.
