Five people have been killed as a result of a Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Sumy, Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Hryhorov said, APA reports.
According to Hryhorov's post on Telegram, the death toll has risen to five after one of the seriously injured victims died in hospital.
The number of injured has also reached 30. Five of them are reported to be in serious condition.
A 13-year-old girl is among those killed.

Russian forces struck civilian infrastructure in the city of Sumy with glide bombs, killing four people, including a child, Ukrinform reports.
According to Ukrinform, Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Hryhorov reported this on Telegram.
He said that Russian forces had dropped three glide bombs on civilian infrastructure in the city's Zarichnyi district.
Initial reports indicated there were casualties.
Hryhorov later confirmed that four people had been killed in the attack, while seven others were hospitalized with injuries. Rescue operations remain underway.
"Currently, the deaths of four people as a result of the Russian glide bomb strike on Sumy have been confirmed," Hryhorov said.
