Czech Linda Noskova won the women's singles final match at Wimbledon on Saturday, beating her compatriot Karolina Muchova, APA reports.
Noskova won the first set 6-2 and led 5-2 in the second, but Muchova saved five match points and came back to win the set 7-5, sending the final into a third set after the dramatic turn. However, Noskova sealed the victory with a 6-3 third set.
Noskova captured her first Grand Slam singles title with this Wimbledon triumph and became the youngest women's Wimbledon champion since 2011.
