Baku. Viktoria Dementyeva – APA. The European Union plans to start the talks with Azerbaijan on visa facilitation early next year. Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia said President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso knows that Azerbaijan is interested in visa facilitation.
“We know that this is important for Azerbaijan and are working on this issue. We will probably start talks on visa facilitation early next year. Visa facilitation will make it available for us to know each other better. Azerbaijani citizens – students, businessmen, teachers, politicians will be able to visit Europe, this is very important for deepening our relations,†he said.
