Ziyafat Asgarov: The international law enables Azerbaijan to liberate its territory by any means and we preserve this right

Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. â€œArmeniaâ€™s attempts towards the recognition of Nagorno Karabakh regime have no prospects, because Armenians understand that the recognition of the so-called regime will once more legally prove Armeniaâ€™s aggression. Armenian must understand that this policy has no prospects,â€ first vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Ziyafat Asgarov told journalists, APA reports.

To the question that the negotiations on the Karabakh problem reached a deadlock, Ziyafat Asgarov said it shows once more that Armenia ignores the international law.
â€œUnfortunately, OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs and other international organizations do not increase pressure on Armenia. They express their concern over the protraction of the process. But I wonder who prevents them from exerting pressure? They express their concern, but there are no results. I think that from now on Azerbaijanâ€™s economy, especially industry must be put on a war footing. Much has been done in this field. But we do not have opportunity, or time to tolerate spoilt policy of Serzh Sargsyan and his government. Azerbaijan has demonstrated great patience up to now. The world community has seen that Azerbaijan supports peace and negotiations. But the international law enables Azerbaijan to liberate its territory by any means. This is our right and we preserve this right,â€ he said.

To the question â€œCan one expect war?â€ first vice-speaker of the parliament said:
â€œSoon you will see it.â€
