Elmar Mammadyarov to attend CIS Foreign Ministersâ€™ Council

Baku. Lachin Sultanova - APA. Today, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will pay official visit to Moscow, spokesman for Foreign Ministry Elkhan Polukhov told APA. The purpose of the visit is to attend the meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministersâ€™ Council to be held on December 9.

18 issues will be discussed at the Councilâ€™s meeting.

The ministers will consider the issues to be discussed on December 10 in Moscow in the meeting of CIS Heads of Statesâ€™ Council. The mentioned documents have been devoted to activation of integration processes in economic and humanitarian spheres, maintenance of security and cooperation in other spheres.

Issues on draft agreement on free trade zone, announcement of the Year of Increase of Food safety in the CIS are among the most significant documents in economic sphere.

Draft decision on cooperation of the CIS countries in political cooperation sphere within the framework of OSCE, strategy of cooperation of international youth in humanitarian sphere and etc. issues will be discussed.

The head of states will sign military cooperation conception until 2015, realization of agreed border-related policy, â€œAgreement on interstate wanted personsâ€.
