Azerbaijan and Italy signs agreement on abolishment of visas for persons having diplomatic and service passports - <font color=red> PHOTO</font>

Baku - APA. Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov received the delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Senator Alfredo Mantica, press service of the Ministry told APA. Touching upon high-level relations between Azerbaijan and Italy, the minister said that it appeared both in bilateral issues and in the existing cooperation within the framework of international organizations. He noted that there was big potential for strengthening of the cooperation.

In its turn, Mantica said that Italy was interested in extending of cooperation with Azerbaijan not only in oil sector, but also in non-oil sector.

During the meeting, the sides noted the importance of intensification of relations between parliaments of the two countries and focused on importance of the Eastern partnership program by highly assessing the cooperation within the framework of the EU.

At the end of the meeting Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Alfredo Mantica signed “Agreement between Azerbaijani Republic and Italian Government on abolishment of visas for persons having diplomatic and service passports”.
