Baku – APA. Turkish embassy in Azerbaijan has issued a statement on the book “From freedom to tyranny†by Turgut Er, former media advisor of this diplomatic representation. The embassy told APA that the statement says:
“The words written in the book “From freedom to tyranny†are personal views of Turgut Er, who worked as media advisor at the embassy in the 90s and is not currently holding an official post. The expressions and views in the book, though we do not share them, caused our concern. Former Azerbaijani President, the late Heydar Aliyev will always be commemorated with respect in Turkey as one of the great leaders of the Turkic world.â€
