Ali Hasanov: If Armenia does not demonstrate constructive position, Azerbaijan will preserve the right to liberate its territories with its own power

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. â€œSerious efforts towards the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict have been made at OSCEâ€™s Astana summit. Actually super powers demonstrated their position and said the states must compromise for the peaceful solution to the conflict. Unfortunately, we did not observe it, the Armenian side dodged the solution to this issue by exaggerating the controversial issues,â€ chief of the socio-political department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov told journalists, APA reports. According to him, the OSCE Minsk Group will possibly become more active after the Astana summit.
â€œWe expected this process to become much more active. Mr. President said the patience of the Azerbaijani side has its limits. Efforts are being made to approve the principle of peaceful resolution of this issue, it will be possible when the Armenian side demonstrates constructive position. If Armenia draws Azerbaijan into the peaceful solution to the conflict, but itself refuses to do it, we will preserve the right to liberate our territories. The international community should not regret when one day Azerbaijan will liberate its territories with its own power,â€ he said.

Ali Hasanov said Azerbaijan signed the protocol of the summit with one condition.
â€œIt is noted that the international community will strengthen its role in the peaceful solution to the conflict. If Armenia does not come to this, Azerbaijan will preserve the right to liberate its territories,â€ he said.
