Head of Azerbaijan’s permanent representation to the Council of Europe: “There are few public workers educated in Europe and fluent in 2-3 foreign languages”

“Azerbaijan gives a special importance to the young people”, said the ambassador and reminding about the speech of the Chief of the Public Policy Department of the Azerbaijan’s Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov at the congress added that work with the youth is important for the government of Azerbaijan not less than the solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

The diplomat emphasized the importance of strengthening the youth activity in the society and their linguistic skills. “There are professional and experienced persons in the governmental agencies, but there are few public workers educated in Europe and fluent in 2-3 foreign languages. It is important to involve the young people fluent in English, French to the public work. Of course, it is not enough to know only languages. They should have professional skills and know the statehood issues”.
