Nazarbayev said he was pleased to note progresses in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh problem within the OSCE Minsk Group. “In October, for the first time in the past five years, international experts visited the region under the auspices of the OSCE to assess humanitarian situation in Nagorno Karabakhâ€.
He also welcomed the joint Declaration signed by the presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in Astrakhan about repatriation of prisoners of war and bodies of the killed soldiers.
Nazarbayev said these efforts help to create confidence between the conflicted sides and to make positions closer for the people suffering from the prolonged conflicts.
