The draft resolution and its amendments prepared by Raynell Andreychuk (Canada) were not included in the session’s program renewed on November 4, APA reports quoting the NATO PA website. According to the previous program publicized on October 26, hearing on the document was scheduled to be discussed at the Political Committee on November 14, second day of the session, which will last from November 13 to 16.

Azerbaijani parliamentarians delegated to NATO PA were not available to learn the reasons of withdrawal of the draft resolution from the agenda due to their preparations for the November 7 parliamentary elections.

Head of the Armenian delegation to NATO PA Karen Avakian told RIA news agency that the draft resolution was removed from the Assembly’s agenda. He said negotiations on the conflict solution have been held within the OSCE Minsk Group format and therefore Armenia addressed NATO to cancel discussions on Karabakh problem.
