Ramiz Mehdiyev calls on UN to react adequately to the growth and transit of narcotics in the occupied Azerbaijani territories

â€œOrdinary Armenians always share this view. It will allow us to make constructions there, open schools, ensure the rise of the living standards. This also makes it available for them to enjoy the rapid development in Azerbaijan. The Armenian authorities must refrain from non-constructive position and make contribution to the peaceful solution to the conflict,â€ Ramiz Mehdiyev said.

According to the Chief of the Presidential Administration, growth and transit of narcotics has widely spread in the occupied Azerbaijani territories. Regarding it as a real threat to the regional and international security, Ramiz Mehdiyev called on the international organizations, especially the UN, which is directly acting in capacity of the international security, to react adequately to this issue.

Ramiz Mehdiyev underlined that Azerbaijanâ€™s territories occupied by Armenia became uncontrolled.
â€œWeapons are illegally sold in those territories,â€ he said.
