Azerbaijan and Ukraine may sign strategic cooperation plan for 2011-2015

APA reports quoting UNIAN that Azerbaijani and Ukrainian presidents will hold one-on-one meeting, the second meeting of Azerbaijan-Ukraine Presidents Council will be held during the visit. Following the meeting, documents on cooperation between the two countries in various spheres will be signed. After the signing ceremony, the presidents will answer journalistsâ€™ questions.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Anderi Klyuyev told journalists on October 7 at the 8th meeting of Azerbaijan-Ukraine intergovernmental commission that the two countries intend to sign strategic cooperation plan for 2011-2015. The plan covers cooperation in military-technical and airspace spheres, transport, heavy engineering, fuel and energy complex, agriculture, education and culture.

Klyuyev said Ukraine intends to increase the volume of the oil products imported from Azerbaijan. He said the exact figure will be publicized within two or three weeks.
