President of Azerbaijan receives governor of Russiaâ€™s Stavropol region

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Governor of Stavropol region of Russia Valeriy Gayevski on April 27. According to APA, President Aliyev emphasized the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia and said there was good potential for the development of relations of Azerbaijan with the subjects of Russian Federation, including the Stavropol region.

In his turn, Governor Gayevski said Stavropol region attached great importance to the cooperation with Azerbaijan and said a group of 150 business people accompanied him during the visit to Azerbaijan was a sign of the regionâ€™s interest to Azerbaijan. The governor said his delegation aimed to determine prospects of cooperation between Stavropol and Azerbaijan in different spheres and to take constructive actions toward it.
