Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov receives Italian Deputy Minister for Productive Activities

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received the delegation headed by Italian Deputy Minister for Productive Activities Adolfo Urso, press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA. Speaking about high-level economic relations between Italy and Azerbaijan, the guest said that stable and quick development from economic and political standpoint makes the republic a reliable partner and an exemplary country for cooperation in the region.

He said that Italian companies had realized several successful projects in Azerbaijan and that Italy was interested in further, deeper cooperation in all spheres with our country.

Mammadyarov said that this interest was mutual and noted the importance of implementation of concrete projects for deepening those relations. The Minister also noted the necessity of extension the economic relations not only in oil sector, but also in non-oil sector â€“ agriculture, tourism, agribusiness and other sectors.

Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
