Baku – APA. Speaker of Turkish parliament has been elected, APA reports quoting Turkish media. Parliamentarian from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Mehmet Ali Sahin gained 338 votes in the third round of the voting. The other candidates Ilhan Kesici from Republican People’s Party got 103, Munir Kutluata from the Nationalist Movement Party 66 votes, non-party Kamer Cenc from Tunceli 1 vote.
Yesterday in the first round of the voting Mehmet Ali Sahin got 315 votes, Ilhan Kesici 96, Munir Kultuata 70, Hasip Kaplan from the Democratic Turkey Party 25, Kamer Cenc 11 votes. In the second round Mehmet Ali Sahin got 322 votes, Ilhan Kesici 96, Munir Kutluata 71, Hasip Kaplan 20 and Kamer Cenc 8 votes.

Former Justice Minister of Turkey, Mehmet Ali Sahin represents AKP from Antalya.
