Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia calls meeting with Armenian president as constructive

Bulbuloghlu said at a briefing held after the meeting that they held very constructive meeting, APA reports quoting tert.am. â€œIt was nice to see that Serzh Sargsyan was very attentive to our initiatives and proposals, accepted it with understanding and positivelyâ€.

Mikhail Shvidkoy said it was important that the initiative was forwarded by the three former ministers of culture. â€œOur mission was to show the people that they have no other way to co-exist with mutual respect even if they donâ€™t like each other. Despite all tensions between the two communities, the people can changeâ€.

Armen Smbatyan said the neighborhood institution was not eliminated by anyone. â€œWe can like or dislike each other, but we have to resolve the relations. Cultural figures, representatives of both communities can play great role in creating of atmosphere of mutual trustâ€.

All three persons said that their mission had peaceful and cultural character and had no relation with political-military negotiations.
