Azerbaijani parliamentarian says â€œany peace is better than a warâ€

Baku â€“ APA. â€œAny peace is better than a warâ€, said Azerbaijani parliamentarian Asim Mollazadeh, who visited Nagorno Karabakh within the Azerbaijani delegation, APA reports quoting tert.am. Mollazadeh said there was great opportunity for both countries and peoples to achieve peace. â€œIt requires serious work and decisions, which allowed turning the South Caucasus into the region of peace, stability and progress. Azerbaijan and Armenia have to make efforts toward this and the international organizations have to assist them to achieve peaceâ€.

Mollazadeh said the negotiation process was going on and serious progress was made. â€œI think Moscow Declaration was a serious step toward the achieving peaceâ€, said the parliamentarian and added that his visit to Khankendi showed that not only Azerbaijani government, but opposition too is interested in the achieving peace. â€œHouse and roads can be constructed again, but no one can return the human life. It is necessary to achieve peace for prevention of human lossesâ€.
