Names of Azerbaijani parliamentarians visited Khankendi and met with separatist regime leader reported

According to APA, Armeniaâ€™s Tert.am reported about six members of Azerbaijani delegation visited Khankendi. The agency reported only about Azerbaijani parliamentarians Asim Mollazadeh, Rovshan Rzayev and rector of Azerbaijan National Conservatory, composer Siyavush Karimi.

Saakyan said he welcomed the initiative of â€œpeopleâ€™s diplomacyâ€. Ambassador Bulbuloghlu said this meeting didnâ€™t aim to replace the negotiations between the presidents and was directed toward the approach of the peopleâ€™s only. He said Azerbaijani and Armenian peoples co-existed peacefully for many years.

First such visit took place on June 28, 2007. A group of Azerbaijani and Armenian intellectuals visited Khankendi, Yerevan and Baku in that time.
