President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva welcomed Lech Kaczyński and his wife Maria Kaczyńska.
Azerbaijan’s state and government representatives were introduced to Lech Kaczyński and members of Polish delegation were introduced to Ilham Aliyev.
Following the official welcome ceremony, Presidents of Azerbaijan and Poland had one-on-one meeting.
The presidents expressed their satisfaction with the development of political, economic and humanitarian relations and noted the importance of cooperating within the framework of the European Union. It was noted that the official visit of Polish President to Azerbaijan was a new stage in the expansion of the relations.
Moreover, they exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and international issues.
