NISA begins summer session on Maritime Security

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“APA. NATO International School of Azerbaijan (NISA) holds summer session on Maritime Security in Baku on June 29-July5, APA reports. NATO officers and representatives of the relevant institutes of Azerbaijan will make reports during the session. NISA Director Mikayil Yusifov said common theoretical and practical approaches of the maritime security, prevention of maritime piracy and crimes, security of the ports and maritime infrastructure, as well as protection of sea borders and territorial waters and etc. would be discussed at the school.

Turkish Navy Captain Alper Karaahmet, Latvian Navy Commander Alexandris Pavlovitz, French Navy Vice Admiral Jean Betermier and other foreign navy officers will also make reports.

The issues of security in the regions of Black Sea and Caspian Sea will also be focused during the session.
