The decision was made after the yesterday’s meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers Elmar Mammadyarov and Edward Nalbandian in Paris. According to Armenian sources, the ministers’ one-on-one meetings with the mediators and with each other lasted for over six hours.
The Ministers discussed the opportunities of holding the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan. Armenian Foreign Ministry states that the ministers’ meeting was efficient and constructive.
The mediators offer to hold the next meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents in Russia in mid-July.
