Ziyafat Asgarov gives abrupt reply to Armeniaâ€™s representative in Astana forum

Astana. Laman Agayeva â€“ APA. Armenian and Azerbaijani representatives had a quarrel during the discussion of the theme â€œEnergy security: Cooperation in the Caspian and Black Sea regionâ€ within the framework of the forum of Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council in Astana, APAâ€™s correspondent for Kazakhstan and Central Asia reports. Armeniaâ€™s ambassador to NATO said hinting at Azerbaijan that because of political ambitions of some states Armenia was not involved in the energy and transport projects implemented in the region. Following this, first vice-speaker of Azerbaijani parliament Ziyafat Asgarov said Armenia was not involved in the projects not because of Azerbaijan, but because of Armeniaâ€™s fault. He said Armenia could not participate in the regional projects because of its aggressive policy. Asgarov said to Armeniaâ€™s ambassador:
â€œYou are an aggressive state, you have occupied Azerbaijanâ€™s territories. Release our lands, end occupation, after that we can discuss cooperation with you.â€
