Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues warning for the Azerbaijani citizens

In the notice placed on its website, the ministry called on the Azerbaijani citizens to cancel their plans to travel to Mexico, if it is not necessary, due to an epidemic threat in this country, APA reports. According to WHO statistics to June 22, 2009, 231 people died and 52 160 people were infected with the virus. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs asked the Azerbaijani citizens living and working in Mexico not to use the services of the hospitals of this country and to use services of the family doctors as possible as. With the aim of protection from the infection it is necessary to avoid the public places and meetings, to observe hygienic rules, to be careful in contacts with most sensitive people (children and elders) and to go for checkup if there are some symptoms of flu.
It was noticed that the swine flu cases were identified not only in Mexico, but in USA, Germany, Argentine, Austria, Australia, Antilles, Bermudas, Bahamas, Barbados, Bahrain, UAE, Brunei, Great Britain, British Virgin Islands, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, French Polynesia, Philippines, India, Honduras, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Caymanas, Columbia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Cyprus, Canada, Korea, Kuwait, Laos, Luxemburg, Lebanon, Egypt, Malaysia, Martinique, Hungary, the Netherlands, Norway, Nicaragua, Oman, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Guatemala, Romania, Russia, Samoa, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Trinidad and Tobago, Ukraine, Uruguay, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, Greece, New Zealand, Jamaica, Japan, West bank and Gaza. The citizens planning to travel these countries must be more careful.
The Azerbaijani citizens living and working in Mexico, during the cases of infection, are recommended immediately to contact with the Azerbaijani embassies in Mexico and the United States, Consulate General in Los Angeles to receive assistance.
â€œThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan doesnâ€™t take responsibility for any incident Azerbaijani citizens could face during the travels and brings to your attention that there are no region and country in the world that could be out of the risk of terror and emergency situationâ€, said in the notice.
