President of Azerbaijan receives Serbian Foreign Minister

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Serbina delegation headed by Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic on June 23, press service of the President told APA. The head of state expressed satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia and said the countries would continue to support each other in the international organizations.

The president underlined the necessity of rapid development of relations between the two countries and said there was good potential for the development of relations. The head of state emphasized that concrete steps will be made toward identification of new fields of fruitful cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and other fields and expressed confidence in further development of relations.

In his turn, Vuk Jeremic said there was unanimous opinion in the negotiations he held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baku that the successfully-developed political relations must be extended further. The minister said the Serbian leadership was interested in the rapid development of bilateral relations with Azerbaijan in various directions, as well as in the field of international cooperation. The guest expressed confidence in further development of relations.
