Islamic Party protests Israeli President’s visit to Azerbaijan

Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Chairman of the Azerbaijan Islamic Party Haji Movsum Samadov held a press conference on Tuesday. Samadov spoke about the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and Israeli President Shimon Peres’ upcoming visit to Azerbaijan. The party chairman called Peres as one of the founders of racism and murderer of millions of Muslims and said he was against his visit to Azerbaijan. Samadov also spoke about the post-election situation in Iran. He condemned the foreign forces in damaging of unity of Iranian people. The party chairman released a statement on the upcoming visit of the Israeli president to Azerbaijan. He said in his statement that the public community is dissatisfied with the visit of Israeli president. “The Islamic Party requested the country leadership to stop the Shimon Peres’ visit to Azerbaijanâ€.
