President Ilham Aliyev receives US ambassador to Azerbaijan

Baku â€“ APA. On Monday, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received US outgoing ambassador Anne Derse on ending of her diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.

According to APA, the head of state emphasized the successful development of bilateral relations in various fields.

President Ilham Aliyev said Ambassador Derse made her contribution to the development of the Azerbaijan-US relations during his diplomatic mission in our country and wished her successes in her further activity.

The head of state expressed confidence in further extension of cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Anne Derse said US-Azerbaijan relations had a significant importance for both countries. She said it was necessary to continue efforts for further strengthening of these relations in all directions.

The diplomat said she worked for identification of new fields of cooperation during her three-year activity in Azerbaijan.
